In Ukraine, the group operates 2 cement plants, located close to Rivne, in the north-west and Nikolayev, in the south-east (Black Sea region). The total annual production capacity is 3.0 million tons. The Ukrainian operations were acquired in the years 2000-2001. The group also operates in the ready-mix concrete sector with 6 batching plants and 42 mixer-trucks.The company is continuing to invest in the country to improve efficiency in the production processes, increase its competitiveness and overcome the current, severe economic turndown.

The country’s employees are around 1,780.
