Siniscola Plant (NU) - Games, creativity and discovery at the Siniscola plant

The children from the Dreamland Babyclub summer camp spent a special day visiting the Siniscola plant.

After introductions and a guided tour of the facilities supported by cement plant staff, the young guests took part in creative and fun activities, getting hands-on by making cakes with various ingredients, an activity that playfully simulated how cement is made.

After lunch there was another engaging moment with ceramic artist Elena Catgiu, who involved the children in working ceramics, giving them the chance to express their creativity.

Settimello Plant (FI) - Family among the silos: a special evening at the plant

The “Family among the silos” initiative was held at the Settimello plant, a special occasion organized to open the factory doors to employees’ family members and friends for an enjoyable evening focused on sharing. Guests took part in a guided tour, offering a close look at the work that gets done on a daily basis and production processes. One of the most moving moments of the evening was the presentation of the company Seniority Awards, celebrating important milestones achieved by a number of employees: 25, 30, 35, and 40 years of service. A recognition of their contribution and dedication, which represents a fundamental value for Buzzi.

Siniscola Plant (NU) - Family & Friends

On Sunday, October 5, the much-anticipated Family & Friends event took place in Siniscola. Promoted by Buzzi Unicem and Unical, the initiative opened the doors of production sites to employees, families, and friends. The event was met with great enthusiasm, welcoming more than 1,000 participants.

The day was designed as an opportunity to connect and share, with the aim of highlighting the people, work, and relationships that bring the local area to life. Visitors had the chance to learn more about company operations and the projects that link the company to the local community, in an open, welcoming, and festive atmosphere.

A wide range of activities was on the program, with the involvement of several local organizations that have worked closely with the company for years to support cultural, social, and musical initiatives. The event also provided an opportunity to present #IMPROSAFE performances, a format that has already been successfully tested at several Buzzi Unicem plants across Italy and designed to strengthen a shared, participatory safety culture.

Family & Friends is part of Federbeton’s national “Open Doors” program, which involves the entire cement supply chain through days of activities focused on discovering plants and the role this sector plays in terms of reliability, innovation, and sustainability.

Barletta Plant (BT) - AVIS at the cement plant: a long-standing partnership in Barletta

On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, the Barletta plant hosted the AVIS blood donation vehicle for the latest edition of the company’s Solidarity Day, a well-established event that opens its doors to the local area, welcoming not only employees but also residents and volunteers from nearby communities, with the aim of strengthening the bond between Buzzi and the local community.

Thanks to the generosity of participants the results were significant, with 30 units of blood collected.

To thank everyone who took part, the company donated a specially designed T-shirt as a sign of appreciation for such a meaningful act of selflessness.

The initiative confirms Buzzi Unicem’s commitment to promoting solidarity, social responsibility, and collaboration with local communities, values that continue to guide the company’s actions.

Augusta Plant (SR) - The Augusta Project community garden: the fruit of our contribution

At the invitation of the Augusta Project Association, the Augusta plant was pleased to take part in the inauguration of its new, beautiful community garden. Made possible thanks to the contribution of the 5th edition of the “Padel, Heart, and Imagination” charity tournament, the project found a welcoming home at the parish center of the San Giuseppe Innografo Church in Augusta, which generously made its spaces available.
The garden is designed as a horticultural therapy lab, a practice that uses plant care as a rehabilitative tool to improve cognitive, motor, and relational skills, while also strengthening self-esteem. The facility is designed for everyone: it includes raised beds to allow young people with motor disabilities to sow and plant with ease, an area dedicated to repotting ornamental flowers, and a plot of land for growing seasonal vegetables and produce.
We remember the day as more than just a simple ribbon-cutting, but as a celebration of human resilience and the power of inclusion.

Robilante Plant (CN) - The Robilante cement plant for BattiKuore

The BattiKuore Association, based in Boves, Cuneo, was founded to train citizens in first aid during emergencies and connects municipalities, companies, and various local organizations.

The Robilante cement plant supported the project by contributing to the purchase of two AEDs (automated external defibrillators) to be installed in the Municipality of Valdieri, in the town of Desertetto, and at the Sanctuary of Madonna del Colletto at 1,304 meters above sea level, where the 36th edition of the Granfondo Fausto Coppi cycling event passed this year.

The official inauguration was held on Saturday, November 15, in the presence of Valdieri Mayor Guido Giordana, local authorities, and other sponsors.

As always, with these initiatives Buzzi Unicem aims to engage with local communities, with particular attention to health and prevention, contributing to the wellbeing of all residents.

Augusta Plant (SR) - World Diabetes Day: New screenings in Augusta

On Friday, November 14, our plant once again successfully celebrated World Diabetes Day, expanding the traditional initiative into a broader and essential Day of Prevention. New this year was the expansion of screenings, going beyond blood glucose testing to include two other crucial parameters: blood pressure and blood oxygen saturation. Like blood glucose itself, these indicators are often overlooked in the absence of clear symptoms, yet they are essential for the early diagnosis of potential risks and more serious conditions. Strong participation in these initiatives once again shows that health is a shared priority among employees and further reinforces our commitment to making health and wellbeing a constant in our corporate strategy.

Robilante Plant (CN) - Solidarity through entertainment at the Luigi Buzzi Center in Robilante

On Saturday, November 15, the “Le Coraggiose Vernantine” theater company performed at the Luigi Buzzi Center in Robilante with the lively comedy Un giallo in bianco e nero (A Mystery in Black and White).

It was an evening of fun, but also of awareness and solidarity thanks to the presentation of the association Autismo Help Cuneo by one of the cement plant’s cooks.

Autism is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how a person interacts, communicates, and behaves. It’s characterized by difficulties in social interaction and communication, as well as repetitive or restricted behaviors and interests. People on the autism spectrum may experience sensory perceptions differently, with heightened or reduced sensitivity to stimuli such as lights, sounds, or physical contact.

The hall was full, making it possible to provide meaningful support to help families access assistance and to enable the many children and young people involved to take part in inclusive activities.

Augusta Plant (SR) - AddHOBBYamo Our Tree: In Augusta, the Christmas spirit brings together hobbies and passions!

Once again this year in Augusta, decorating the Christmas tree became a wonderful opportunity for sharing and inclusion. Employees took part in the initiative “AddHOBBYamo our tree,” turning the simple act of decorating into a fun, warm team-building experience and an opportunity to get to know one another better.
Each ornament on the Christmas tree, brought directly by employees, represents a hobby, passion, or personal interest cultivated outside of work. A friendly and original way to learn more about each co-worker’s unique traits and personality.
The personal decorations brought by employees included a basketball shoe, a bicycle brake, a canvas, a homemade cookie, a telescope eyepiece, a packet of tomato seeds, even a small bottle of olive oil and a Vespa made from Lego bricks.
Some simply chose to hang and share a symbol representing what 2025 meant to them on a personal level.
The initiative achieved its goal, strengthening the sense of belonging to a “big company family,” showing that the connection between work life and individual passions enriches the environment and builds stronger bonds.

Vernasca Plant (PC) - Pet Therapy at Piacenza Hospital

The Piacenza Local Health Authority publicly thanked Buzzi Unicem on social media for its efforts related to pet therapy. Represented by Vernasca plant manager Carlo Gamba and Stakeholder Engagement Manager Federica Chinosi, the company visited the pediatrics ward at Piacenza Hospital to see firsthand the smiles and excitement that fill the rooms whenever the four-legged doctors arrive.

Thanks to a donation from Buzzi Unicem to the association “La Collina dei Ciuchini,” hospitalized children and young patients are able to enjoy these highly anticipated and much-loved pet therapy activities.

Barletta Plant (BT) and Casale Monferrato Headquarters (AL) - United for solidarity: high levels of participation in the fourth “AISM Apple” campaign

Two sites far apart but united by solidarity: on October 1 at the headquarters in Casale Monferrato and on October 3 in Barletta, volunteers from the Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association (AISM) were welcomed once again as part of the “AISM Apple” campaign. The association has long been a national point of reference in Italy for scientific research and services for people with multiple sclerosis, addressing the disease in all its dimensions: healthcare, social support, and the protection of rights.

Thanks to the generous participation of colleagues, numerous boxes of apples were distributed, with all proceeds donated to charity.

A small gesture that helps fund research and support services for people with multiple sclerosis, a condition that mainly affects young adults between the ages of 20 and 40.

Guidonia Plant (Roma) - The second edition of the “Social Tour” was also a huge success

After last year's massive participation, the Guidonia plant once again opened its doors for the highly awaited second edition of the “Social Tour”, reorganizing itself into an exceptional location in which singers, actors, sportsmen and well-known faces performed on stage from the afternoon until late at night, all together for a single goal: to reinforce a very strong message about awareness, welcome, appreciation of diversity and inclusiveness.

Many voluntary associations operating in the area were also on hand at the event, allowing them to promote and disseminate their activities aimed exclusively at inclusion and overcoming social distress.

The Social Tour˶ is not an event rather it is a catalyst: a meeting point where distant worlds brush against each other, talk to each other and leave a mark. We do not invite spectators, but key participants. Because change comes from those who participate, those who create, those who are brave enough to reinvent places and connections with a fresh look."

The extraordinary event proved once again how true strength lies in unifying diversity and how every small gesture can build a more open and aware society.

Guidonia Plant (Roma) - The first anti-violence “blue bench” inaugurated in Tivoli

Last April 9, on the occasion of the first National Day of Listening to Minors, the inaugural ceremony of the first “blue bench” against all violence, and in particular against minors, was held in the public park of the City of Tivoli.

The project is funded by the No Child Abuse Social Promotion Association, which for two years has been carrying out its awareness campaign in the fight against pedophilia and child pornography. This campaign was embraced by local institutions and Buzzi Unicem, which understood its deep social value and fully endorsed the initiative.

A blue bench to ponder, understand and help, with the slogan “Let's protect our future."

Trino Plant (CV) - Makeover for the Pietro and Antonio Buzzi community center

The Pietro and Antonio Buzzi community center in Trino recently underwent major renovations. After careful planning that assessed the spaces available and their use, the members can now enjoy an area for sports, leisure time, and a valuable meeting and refreshment center in the Trino area. In addition to painting and remodeling the gymnasium, the bar and the multipurpose hall underwent a full restyling, with a masterful modernization of the rooms, optimizing the spaces and updating the furnishings and decorative items, with the addition of a new outdoor area. Finally, the new men's and women's locker rooms are also available for tennis enthusiasts and athletes who use the center's clay courts: modern, ergonomic and equipped with every comfort.

Casale Monferrato Headquarters (AL) - Welcome back Gardensia 2025: huge participation and solidarity

On March 7, for the national event “Welcome back Gardensia 2025”, the Alessandria Provincial Section of AISM (Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association) achieved a huge accomplishment at the Casale Head Offices.

The initiative contributed to the success of the nationwide campaign that managed to raise about 3 million euros, valuable funds earmarked for scientific research and support of people afflicted by multiple sclerosis.

Education

Built (VC) - Built hosts students from the Concreto Academy

For the second year in a row, Built welcomed a group of Concreto Academy students for a day of education and training focused on concrete. Concreto Academy is an international training project launched in 2024 and led by the Pier Luigi Nervi Foundation to promote sustainable practices for the regeneration of reinforced concrete structures. Elisabetta Margiotta Nervi, Secretary General of the Luigi Nervi Project Foundation, accompanied the students together with Professor Mehmet Koray Pekeriçli of the Middle East Technical University in Ankara. The ten students, from the three participating countries (Italy, Spain, and Turkey), were introduced to the topic of concrete durability, a key issue not only in new construction but also in preserving existing structures, which is the academy’s main objective. In the words of Ms. Margiotta Nervi: “Concrete is not just a material, but a key to understanding our cultural heritage.”

Trino Plant (VC) - The mural at the cement plant

As part of the significant redevelopment work to improve a large area of the Trino plant, we launched a project with the “Leardi” Art High School in Casale Monferrato.  The collaboration involves creating a large mural divided into three continuous sections on the retaining wall of the high viscosity fuel oil tank that has been unused for years.

Fourth-year students designed an initial concept that was then brought to life, alternating work between last summer and this year, with completion of the large-scale artwork planned for next year. The mural was created under the teacher’s supervision using traditional painting techniques with brushes, rollers and an airbrush.

Built (VC) - Built and UPO for a sustainable habitat

On September 26, the conference “A Sustainable Habitat: Balancing Construction and the Environment” was held with great success at BUILT in Vercelli, organized in collaboration with the University of Eastern Piedmont (UPO).

The event provided an important opportunity to discuss the delicate relationship between building development and environmental protection, bringing together experts, professionals, and academics on a topic of growing relevance. About 100 people attended, including many representatives of the Orders of Architects and Engineers, as well as a representative from the Borgogna Museum, whose presence further boosted the initiative’s cultural value by highlighting the link between sustainability, artistic heritage, and the local area.

The conference explored new approaches to sustainable design, the use of innovative and eco-friendly materials, and strategies for harmoniously integrating buildings into the natural and social context. It was an important moment of reflection on the future of our habitat, at a time when finding a balance between human needs and protecting the environment is essential.

Casale Monferrato Headquarters (AL) - Make the Right Move – 2025 Edition

On November 7, Buzzi took part in the fourth edition of “Make the Right Move,” the guidance event dedicated to education, training, and employment held at the Riccardo Coppo Exhibition Center in Casale Monferrato.

It was a valuable opportunity to meet students and young people looking for new opportunities.

We presented our organization and shared our commitment to the sector, engaging directly with those who are making choices related to their professional and educational futures.

A special day during which the municipality, together with organizers, schools, institutions, and companies, turned the local area into a bridge between education and work.

Settimello Plant (FI) - Young talent recognized: University of Florence students redesign the Chianti area

The award ceremony for architectural projects aimed at redeveloping parts of the Chianti area, where one of our group’s plants is also located, saw a high level of participation. Also supported by Buzzi Unicem, the initiative involved architecture students who were invited to imagine new ways of using and promoting the area and the site.

Mayors from the municipalities of Greve in Chianti and San Casciano, representatives of local institutions, and company representatives attended the event, creating an open discussion on the future of the region. The selected projects stood out for their quality, sustainability, and attention to integration with the natural and social context.

The initiative represents another example of collaboration between the public sector, private companies, and academia.

Casale Monferrato Headquarters (AL) - 2023-2025 TagCem Master diploma award ceremony

On Tuesday, June 3, the second edition of the second-level TagCem Master in “Advanced Techniques for Managing Cement Production Plants” officially came to an end.

Vernasca Plant (PC) - SME Day – Visit to the Vernasca plant

This year Confindustria Piacenza promoted the SME Day initiative, giving younger generations the chance to learn about the business world through meetings and guided tours of member companies.

The goal was to help eighth grade students choose their future high school by offering them the opportunity to see firsthand the daily life of entrepreneurs, who make strategic decisions and face risks every day.

Buzzi Unicem enthusiastically welcomed the initiative, hosting a class from Fiorenzuola, Piacenza, at the Vernasca plant.

After an introduction to the plant and production process by the Plant Manager, students toured the facility accompanied by the managers responsible for production and safety.

Siniscola Plant (NU) - SME Day 2025: The Buzzi Unicem Siniscola plant opens its doors to students from ITC Chironi-Satta of Nuoro

Last Friday, November 14, 2025, the Buzzi Unicem Siniscola plant opened its doors to fifth-year students from the Chironi-Satta Technical Commercial Institute of Nuoro, as part of the 16th edition of SME Day – Industriamoci (Let's Get Industrial). Promoted by Confindustria’s Small Industry division in collaboration with local associations, the initiative offered participants an engaging opportunity to get closer to the business world and discover the value of Italy’s small and medium-sized manufacturing companies.

The visit included 25 students accompanied by two teachers, who were able to get an up-close look at production processes and technologies used at the plant. Opportunities like this help build a bridge between school and the working world, inspiring future professionals and promoting greater awareness of the strategic role of businesses.

Built (VC) - CEMescape for UPO Junior: learning through play

On Tuesday, October 28, three classes from different middle schools in Vercelli took part in a special activity at the BUILT laboratory: “CEMescape,” an escape room designed to introduce the world of cement and concrete through play, while stimulating critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity.

Part of the UPO Junior project, the initiative engaged students in a timed challenge where, using puzzles, clues, and logic tests, they were able to put their skills to the test in a fun, interactive setting.

Guided by the team at the Built lab, students explored simulated environments and learned how to work together to achieve a common goal.

For many it was also an opportunity to get a closer look at the world of the university and the opportunities offered by research and technology.

Barletta Plant (BT) - The “CREATIVE CEMENT 2.0” laboratory in the plant

At the end of January, a week-long “CREATIVE CEMENT 2.0” workshop was held at the Barletta plant involving about 20 students from the ITET “Cassandro Fermi Nervi” high school in Barletta. This second edition was also made possible thanks to the support of ScartOff experts.

After the institutional presentation of the Buzzi Group, the participants ventured on to discover and experiment with different cement mixtures. All students then tried their hand at “unmolding” the small artifacts, after which they were able to let loose their creativity, dedicating themselves to manual decoration.

The main goal of the event was to foster new processes of inclusion for neurodivergent pupils and, at the same time, to create a new educational dimension through the “tutoring” method, always driven by team spirit. At the end of the workshop, the students acting as eco-craftsmen presented some very original furniture items of various shapes and sizes.

Robilante Plant (CN) - Mural project at CLB wrapped up

The wall of the Luigi Buzzi Center in Robilante has turned into a true work of art thanks to a three-year project with the cement plant, the Comprehensive Institute of Robilante and the talented artists of MacchiaConForma.

Over the past three years, third-grade students have learned new rendering techniques and experimented with reproducing graphic sketches using rollers and sprays, evolving into young graffiti artists. During the fourth and final meeting, senior students completed the “puzzle” depicting a gymnast and a bocce player.

On June 4, during the “Valleys in Music” festival, all participants were honored and awarded a certificate, while a commemorative plaque was unveiled to commend the project.

Guidonia Plant (Roma) - Completion of PCTO training for future surveyors

On Tuesday, February 18, 36 third-grade students from the “Enrico Fermi” Technical Commercial and Surveyor Institute in Tivoli completed a specific training period on the cement production cycle consisting of 13 hours of classroom lessons (some at the school's headquarters, others at the cement plant) and 5 hours of practical laboratory and concrete processing tests.

UNICAL technicians explained to students how a laboratory test is set up, with quality checks also used as standard acceptance checks at the construction site.

After a concise explanation of the materials typically used in concrete, these were weighed and mixed in the concrete mixer. Specifically, the students were shown how super-fluidifying admixtures work and what they are used for, comparing mixtures with only water addition and with admixture addition.

La Collina dei Ciuchini, which deals with Animal Assisted Therapies (commonly known as pet therapy), Pedagogy with Animals, Research and Training, held an event at the Vernasca cement plant involving 14 children aged 5 to 10, accompanied by parents and grandparents.

The children got to explore with Miura and Emily, the two four-legged friends, the correct method of requesting certain activities for the dog to do, focusing on the communication that the dog implements through the body and respect for the animal, its space and diversity, a rule that can also be transferred to human relationships.

Casale Monferrato Headquarters (AL) - Career Day IS Sobrero 2025

The Career Day organized by the Sobrero Institute of Casale Monferrato took place on Friday, May 30.

The initiative has been ongoing for several years, making it possible for graduating students to discover and deepen their knowledge of local companies on the one hand, while aiding companies in the search and selection of young and motivated profiles on the other.

This year once again our team had the opportunity to meet with many young people. Almost 40 students had a job interview: some were at the end of their studies, ready to face entry into the labor market, others were students looking to enroll in the university.

Cultural

Siniscola Plant (NU) - Improsafe

On Saturday, October 4, the Michelangelo Pira Institute in Siniscola hosted the IMPROSAFE theatrical performance, an initiative that involved around 200 students from the 11th and 12th grades of the Scientific High School and the Transport and Logistics Technical Institute. It was a unique opportunity to raise awareness among young people about workplace safety through an engaging, interactive language.

Promoted by Buzzi Unicem in collaboration with the LHS Foundation of SAIPEM and Improforma – Applied Improvisation, IMPROSAFE adopts an innovative approach that combines theatrical improvisation with safety training. The actors interacted with the audience, encouraging reflection on safe behavior and the values of prevention.

After its success at other Italian plants, the format also proved effective in Siniscola, making the topic of safety accessible and engaging for younger generations. The initiative fits into a broader educational program aimed at spreading a culture of safety beyond the workplace, reaching schools and raising awareness about risks and best practices among young people.

Vernasca Plant (PC) - In Vernasca, safety told through theater

On Friday, September 5, in Vernasca, an engagement event was held in the inner courtyard of the office building, involving employees, colleagues from Unical, local authorities, external contractors, and local suppliers.

The evening opened with a welcome from the Plant Manager, joined by the HR Department and the Ecology, Environment, and Safety Department. The IMPROSAFE improvisational theater company then entertained guests with a performance focused on safety, aimed at raising awareness through a “new” communication approach.

Robilante Plant (CN) - Robilante opens the quarry and plant for Piedmont Open Factories 2025

Piedmont Open Factories is an initiative that allows the general public to visit industrial production sites across the region free of charge, opened to visitors just for this occasion. It’s a regional event designed to promote greater awareness of local manufacturing, highlighting economic and technological excellence, business culture, and the communities’ sense of belonging to a manufacturing system.

A total of 150 companies opened their doors on October 23-25, 2025, for the sixth edition of Piedmont Open Factories, attracting more than 10,000 registered visitors.

The Robilante cement plant was one of these factories. In addition to guided tours of the plant on October 23 and 24, Saturday morning was dedicated to the quarry, opened for the first time to members of the general public. Fifty guests entered the quarry in the Roaschia Valley, where they saw how a blast is prepared, observed material extraction, and entered the new nearly 200-meter tunnel to view the large machinery inside the chamber that crushes limestone, which then travels via conveyor belt and a six-kilometer tunnel to the Robilante cement plant.

Monselice plant (PD) - The Monselice plant conducted an awareness campaign focused on health, proper nutrition and a good lifestyle

The initiative kicked off in the spring with the "Let's Feel Healthy" day, organized in conjunction with the Italian Red Cross - South Padua Committee. During the event, free check-ups were offered not just to the employees of the plant but to all citizens so they could check their cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure levels and obtain an assessment of their general state of health.

Informative meetings were held during the following weeks with over 90% of employees participating. Conducted by the Red Cross staff, these meetings were an excellent opportunity to discuss the importance of adopting healthy habits on a daily basis, such as proper nutrition and an active lifestyle, which can lead to positive benefits for one’s physical and mental health.

The meetings were also attended by the company physician, who explained the legal framework on the consumption of alcohol and drugs in the workplace, focusing on testing and penalties. Participants were also able to try out special glasses provided by the Red Cross that simulate a state of intoxication by altering one’s visual perception, making it all the more evident how alcohol can impair a person’s abilities.

Trino Plant (VC) - Buzzi for Confindustria and Museimpresa’s Corporate Culture Week

The initiative promoted by Confindustria offers an in-depth look at the values and practices of corporate culture. The theme chosen for this 24th edition, “Telling the story of enterprise. To grow open, connected businesses,” encourages the promotion of a dynamic vision of enterprise, rooted in local communities and attentive to people. A rich, diverse program of events will guide the public in discovering the extensive cultural heritage preserved in the museums and archives of Italian companies of all sizes that are part of Museimpresa’s network of Corporate Archives and Museums.

Buzzi Spa and the Marazzato Foundation are offering a weekend of joint initiatives, with the opportunity to book guided tours of AREA907 and engaging virtual reality experiences featuring some of the historic vehicles from the Marazzato Collection.

Trino Plant (VC) - Buzzi becomes a member of Museimpresa

It is with great zeal and pride that Buzzi joined Museimpresa, the network that brings together more than 150 Italian museums and business archives. Through the AREA907 tour, located at the historic Trino Plant, we recount the story of our first cement plant, founded in 1907.

AREA907 is a unique example of how technology and industrial processes can be presented in a genuine way. The machines displayed in their natural environment, offer an engaging experience that enhances our industrial heritage, making it alive and accessible.

Being a member of Museimpresa represents another step toward the dialogue between tradition and innovation. Through this membership, we bolster our commitment to sharing our history and promoting business culture, opening ourselves increasingly to the public and the local community.

Trino Plant (VC) - A Sunday full of jazz at AREA907

On Sunday, June 22, AREA907 hosted about a hundred visitors as part of the eighth edition of Monfrà Jazz Fest, the Monferrato music festival that this year is called “Semi di Jazz. Fughe e ritorni”, ("Seeds of Jazz. Escapes and Returns)".

In the past few weeks a program was fine-tuned with the organizers that allowed guests not only to enjoy a superb show, thanks to the lively notes of the John Birks Orchestra; but precisely owing to the dynamism of the Turin marching band, original sessions of guided tours of the enterprise museum were offered during which music “dialogued” with the machinery and voices of the plant's history.

A novel experience that validates the potential of Buzzi's enterprise museum.

Robilante (CN) - Night of notes at the cement plant 2025

At the beginning of the year, the Robilante cement plant staged the 3rd round of “The diffused concerts".

This year's guests were Elia and Federico Bersia with the show "Canzoni allo Specchio" (“Songs in the Mirror”). Towards the end of the concert Fabrizio Buffa, promoter of the review, was tempted by the mood of the evening and joined the artists on stage, turning the duo into a trio!

The repertoire included Paoli, Gaber, Venditti, Battiato, De Gregori, Fossati and many others. “Canzoni allo Specchio” was an evening with music that touches the heart, breathes life into and moves it.

Casale Monferrato Headquarters (AL) - Buzzi sponsors the exhibition "La Bellezza liberata" ("Liberated Beauty") at the Civic Museum Bistolfi

Buzzi was the sponsor of the exhibition “La Bellezza Liberata, ("Liberated Beauty”). Leonardo Bistolfi and his Divisionist Friends," which opened in March at the Vitoli Salon of the Bistolfi Civic Museum and Plaster Collection in Casale Monferrato.

The exhibition features a journey through works of painting, sculpture and graphic art to narrate the personal and artistic relationships between Leonardo Bistolfi and some of the most important Divisionist painters of the first generation. It is a singular experience that reveals not only the artistic connections, but also the bonds of friendship and sharing of ideas that helped shape the artistic landscape of the time.

Buzzi thus confirms its commitment to supporting valuable cultural initiatives, promoting the enhancement of the territory's artistic heritage.

Monselice Plant (PD) - Art and Sustainability: Buzzi Unicem hosts the exhibition “Sustainable Eco-Network By Ricrearti”

For some years now, Buzzi Unicem has been a member of the Sustainability group of Confindustria Veneto Est, which brings together 60 companies in the Veneto region.

It is in this context that the collaboration with “Ricrearti,” a project by the Artist and Eco-designer Debora Basei, a branch of the Social Promotion Association “Il Pesco of Mogliano Veneto, was created and is shared, also, with the Associazione Piccola Comunità Onlus of Conegliano, a non-profit organization that helps socially marginalized young people.

The idea of integrating people who are considered different or who are going through difficult times in the creation of the works aims to involve and support them and thus build a sustainable future, mindful of material and social resources, thus meeting the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The goal of the initiative is to introduce students and stakeholders in general to the importance of respecting the environment, of creativity, and of experimentation.

Barletta Plant (BT) - The “DeCEM” and “ArCEM” projects for the first time

The Barletta plant, in partnership with the IISS and ScartOff, developed for the first time a dual PCTO training project aimed at third-year students of the two academic courses Design and Architecture taught at the fine art high school.

The 25 students involved had the chance to try their hand in the role of the designer. In mid-February, after a guided tour of the production plant, and through the following weeks, the two projects were implemented, with the two classes taking turns at the plant, putting into play skills they had already mastered and developing new ones: from the making of the wooden and/or expanded polystyrene formwork, to the preparation of cement mortars, proceeding through the delicate task of unstacking the formwork, to the creation of original stencils used in the final decoration stages, using waste materials (ex. salvaged lampshade). The projects thus enabled the young students to understand the use of concrete as versatile material in both industrial and architectural design.

It was an exceptional experience in which the cement produced by the Barletta plant firmly linked industry and school.

Monselice Plant (PD) - Photographic exhibition "Euganean Hills: Land, Soul and Lens" with photos of the plant

At the beginning of May, the Este Photoclub inaugurated the exhibition "Euganean Hills: Land, Soul": a story in images that explores the heart of the Euganean Hills, entwining faces, landscapes and local production facilities.

The company was proud to participate in the project and gave photographers the opportunity to present 10 shots of the Monselice plant taken last year, during a photography workshop.

The main focus was not only on the natural beauty of these lands, but also on the people who live and infuse them with life every day: men and women known in the area, companies that combine tradition and innovation, landscapes that speak through light, time and memory.

“Euganean Hills, Land, Soul and Lens” is an invitation to view our surroundings with new eyes. Each photograph exhibited springs from an authentic encounter with the territory, and is the result of passion, observation and the desire to narrate through light.

Trino Plant (VC) - Music recital at the Buzzi Center in Trino

At the end of May, the auditorium of the Pietro and Antonio Buzzi Center in Trino hosted the 1st and 2nd grade students of the Trino and Asigliano Comprehensive School. The students are aspiring musicians and attend the music program that includes teaching oboe, percussion, piano and trumpet.

The recital featured a short solo piece for each sophomore, followed by ensembles with the younger ones, accompanied by teachers, and finally a closing orchestral piece played by the entire group; the boys turned out to be very good, exhibiting plenty of dedicated and constant study and passion.

Sport

Guidonia Plant (Rome) - Second Sports Day: high turnout and plenty of fun!

It was a wonderful day of sunshine, fun, and togetherness on Saturday, October 11, at the Guidonia plant.

The second Sports Day involved several local sports associations, which showcased their activities and successfully engaged the many guests, making the event a fun, inclusive experience for all.
