The presentation of the EIA application for the Albarola mine mining project is scheduled for today. All the documentation and project drawings are being submitted to the Emilia-Romagna Region and ARPA within the established timeframes and according to the established procedures and concern the renewal of the mining concession for a further thirty years in the two sites of Canova and Albarola.

Following delivery, the competent authority will verify the completeness and adequacy of the documentation submitted.

Subsequently, the actual preliminary investigation will begin with the publication of the project on the Emilia-Romagna Region's environmental assessment website, at the same time initiating the public consultation phase which allows for the submission of any comments by the stakeholders. Appropriate notice of this publication will be given in order to guarantee the participation of the general public.

The Company and the Bodies will review any comments/requests, which will be examined and receive timely feedback during the procedure and the Conferences of Services, in which all the competent Bodies will participate, each for its own area of expertise.

Please note that the EIA, according to the procedure established by law, will be issued as part of a single procedure aimed at obtaining all the necessary authorizations.
