A three-year agreement was signed in March 2020 with the cultural association "Società Augustana di Storia Patria" (Augustan Society of Homeland History) aimed at strengthening the local collaboration in the cultural sphere.

As soon as the Covid 19 emergency will allow it, the Buzzi Unicem Plant of Augusta will commit, together with the aforementioned association, to develop projects with schools and local organizations for the development of creative projects, exhibitions, guided tours of the plant aimed at the knowledge of the real situations that contribute to the growth and socio-economic development of the local community.
