In 2023, the second edition of the second-level University Master’s program in “Advanced Techniques for Managing Cement Production Plants” was launched—an initiative strongly supported once again by Buzzi Unicem and the Politecnico di Torino.

Over the two-year course, the 10 participants had the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally, deepening their understanding of the cement industry and concrete-related topics, while gaining a comprehensive view of the company’s operations.

As part of the educational program, company tutors assigned each apprentice a specific topic, developed during the second year as a Project Work focused on Buzzi Unicem’s innovative processes and activities.

The collaboration with professors from the Politecnico di Torino, together with the support from various company departments and production plants, not only fostered the apprentices’ growth but also enabled the company to enhance its internal training programs, recognizing the value of employees who served as tutors and trainers.

On Tuesday, May 6, a special day was held for the presentation of the Project Works—a moment of exchange and reflection with the participation of professors, tutors, and colleagues.

Starting in June, participants will join their assigned Departments, Areas, and Plants, continuing their professional journey within the company.

The official closing ceremony will take place on June 3, with diploma awards at the Politecnico di Torino.
